January 28th, 2011 by Nick Jones The Australian pop star was cutting to play with Bobby Gillespie and the balance of the band, hoping to compose new material or even collaborate on a new album the only trouble was the set was having trouble writing material for themselves.
The42-year-old singer, who had previously collaborated withartists like Nick cave and Maniac Street Preachers, had approached Gillespie and co. to write a path for her, reported Contactmusic. Bobby Gillespie said "We met her twice - at a photoshoot and so she came to a gig in Australia. She was lovely. Ithink she was looking for us to write a call for her and create a recordwith her. But we were having problems even writing songs for ourselvesat that point. So it never happened". The set are set to look in a documentary film about Creation Records and have recently marked 25 days of theirfirst single release.
