An ultra-professional, Kylie`s show proved her credentials as the princess of pop. For a major star, Kylie Minogue is alone in being loved by everyone. Only a churl would aim to her ultra-professional take on pure entertainment. * * * *
THE TIMES - Saturday 26th March 2011 - U.K.
When enduring pop careers are such a rarity, it is yet more impressive that it`s in her third decade of creating hits that Kylie Minogue embarks on her biggest tour yet. Embracing Greek mythology, 42-year old Minogue emerges resplendent as the goddess of jazz in a flowing white gown, and sparkling gold boots, from a giant golden shell inspired by Botticelli`s Birth of Venus, to the hammer beat of Aphrodite. It`s a stunning opening that paves the way for two hours of ornate stage sets . . . As an example in pure pop pleasure, the concert could not be faulted. * * * *
THE INDEPENDANT - Saturday 26th March 2011 - U.K.
Kylie wows Cardiff audience with spectacular concert. THE Princess of Pop returned to Wales promising to have her fans a representation and musical treat - and, dressed as a Greek goddess, Kylie didn`t disappoint. . .fresh from two nights wowing crowds at Dublin`s O Arena, where she had won rave reviews for her stunning show. It`s not difficult to see why. As entrances to concerts go they don`t get more telling than her arrival on the Motorpoint Arena stage. A supporting cast of synchronised swimmers, aerial performers and acrobats added to that sensory extravaganza, creating a theatrical feast for the eyes and the ears. Each (number) was rapturously received by a perma-grinned crowd enthralled by a woman we`ve taken to our hearts . . . this point is validation that Kylie`s still at the top of her game. It`s unlikely Cardiff will see such a spectacle for some time - a fact not lost on the Welsh crowd who sang and danced last night away, as if their lives depended on it. As (the) encore . brought the curtain down on a breathless two-hour show, we knew we should be so lucky_ lucky, lucky, lucky to have been in the society of one of the world`s greatest entertainers.

You gotta love her: Kylie shines on Aphrodite tour
Kylie Minogue took Glasgow by storm last night as she brought her Aphrodite tour to town. No expense was spared for the evidence with Dolce and Gabbana providing the elaborate jewel encrusted corsets and dresses. The 10 million set, which included swimming pools, fountains and a giant golden seashell, made Lady Gaga`s Monsters Ball look practically minimalist. Kylie proved she is still the Queen of pop . . . Fans of all ages went crazy for the star`s take to Scotland
